U.S. Sales and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with A' La Carte. We appreciate your interest in our cooking kits, products, and subscriptions, and we look forward to making your culinary and science adventures fun and stress-free. As with any shopping experience, certain terms and conditions apply to transactions with A' La Carte.

By placing an order or making a purchase with A' La Carte, you agree to the terms set forth below, along with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Standard Return Policy

We believe you’ll be thrilled with the products, services, and subscriptions you purchase from A' La Carte because we work hard to provide high-quality ingredients, activities, and educational experiences. However, we understand that sometimes a product or subscription may not be what you expected. Please review the terms below regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds.

Non-Perishable Product Return Policy

For undamaged non-food and non-perishable items (such as educational materials or kitchen tools), you may return them in their original, unopened condition within 14 days of receipt. Upon receiving the returned product with the original receipt or gift receipt, we will process an exchange or refund to the original payment method.

Gift Cards and gift subscriptions are non-returnable.

Food and Perishable Product Return Policy

Due to the perishable nature of food products, including meal kit ingredients, we are unable to accept returns. However, we want every customer to be satisfied with their experience. If you encounter an issue with your kit, please contact us at info@alacartecookingclass.com, and we will work with you to make it right.

Order Acceptance / Confirmation

A' La Carte may, in its sole discretion, refuse or cancel any order and limit quantities. We may also require additional information prior to accepting or processing an order. Once we receive your online order, we’ll send you an order confirmation email.

Please note: your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify A' La Carte’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right to accept or decline an order at any time. If we cancel an order after you have been billed, A' La Carte will issue a refund for the billed amount.

Shipping & Delivery

Please review our Shipping Information page for details on how and when you will receive your products. While we work hard to ensure timely delivery, some events are outside of A' La Carte’s control once an order has shipped. We cannot be held liable for delays but will do our best to help resolve any delivery issues.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or someone designated by you, takes possession of the product(s). Title in the product(s) passes to you when the order is picked up by the carrier from our facility. At that time, you will receive a Shipment Notification Email.

Consumers Only

A' La Carte sells and ships products directly to end-user customers only. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect it is being purchased for resale.

U.S. Shipping Only

Products and subscriptions purchased online from A' La Carte are available only within the United States and are subject to U.S. laws and regulations. Orders must be purchased, sold, and delivered in compliance with applicable export laws.

Product / Subscription Availability and Limitations

Due to demand and supply constraints, A' La Carte may occasionally limit the number of products or subscriptions available for purchase. We reserve the right to adjust product or subscription availability at any time, even after an order has been placed.

If we confirm your order but later learn that a product or subscription is unavailable, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund.

Billing

A' La Carte offers subscription services. By subscribing, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that your subscription will automatically renew on a recurring basis. Your credit card will be charged for the subscription product(s) until you cancel your subscription or have paid for all boxes shipped to you.

You can cancel your subscription at any time online or by contacting us at . If you cancel:

  • Any prepaid amount for boxes not yet shipped will be refunded.
  • Any amount due for boxes already shipped but not paid in full will be charged.

It is your responsibility to provide a valid, updated credit card before recurring charges are processed. You agree to pay any fees incurred due to invalid or expired payment methods.

Subscriptions

By clicking “Place my order” for a subscription product, you agree that your subscription will automatically renew and your credit card will be charged the subscription price according to the order summary, until you cancel.

  • You may cancel at any time.
  • If you cancel, prepaid amounts for boxes not yet shipped will be refunded.
  • Any boxes already shipped but not paid for in full will be charged.
  • If discounts were applied to a prepaid subscription and you request a refund before all boxes are shipped, the refund will be recalculated based on the full, non-discounted price of the boxes already shipped.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these charges and terms and agree not to dispute valid charges.
