Guidelines for Using A' La Carte Trademarks

A' La Carte’s trademarks, service marks, trade names, and trade dress are valuable assets. By following these guidelines, you help us protect our trademark rights and strengthen our brand identity.

By using an A' La Carte trademark, in whole or in part, you acknowledge that A' La Carte is the sole owner of the trademark and agree not to interfere with A' La Carte’s rights in the trademark. This includes agreeing not to challenge A' La Carte’s use, registration, or application to register such trademarks—alone or in combination with other words—anywhere in the world. You also agree not to harm, misuse, or bring into disrepute any A' La Carte trademark.

The goodwill derived from using any part of an A' La Carte trademark exclusively benefits and belongs to A' La Carte. Except for the limited right to use expressly permitted under these guidelines, no other rights of any kind are granted hereunder, by implication or otherwise.

Prohibited Uses

Company, Trade, or Product Names: You may not use or register, in whole or in part, “A' La Carte,” “A La Carte,” or any other A' La Carte trademark, including A' La Carte-owned logos, icons, or altered versions, as or as part of a company name, trade name, product name, or service name.
Imitation of Branding: You may not imitate A' La Carte’s packaging, website design, logos, typefaces, slogans, or taglines. Example: “Sittin’ Pretty” is reserved exclusively for A' La Carte.
Domain Names: You may not use an identical or virtually identical A' La Carte trademark as a second-level domain name.

Correct Trademark Use

Refer to the A' La Carte Trademark List for the correct trademark symbol, spelling of the trademark, and generic terms to use alongside the trademark. Generally, the trademark symbol should appear at the upper-right shoulder of the mark.
